Abruzzen
Die Abruzzen an der Adria sind geprägt von Küste und Apenninen mit starken Temperaturunterschieden. Trotz nur ca. 34.000 ha Weinbergen spielt die Region eine wichtige Rolle im italienischen Weinbau. Neben Montepulciano und Trebbiano setzen moderne Privatkellereien zunehmend auf autochthone Reben wie Pecorino und Passerina und prägen so eine neue Qualitätsära.
